Host Question: What is a master’s in rehabilitation counseling?
Guest Answer: A masters in rehabilitation is going to be similar to the Masters in Substance Abuse, but not just specifically because when we’re looking at substance abuse, we often are talking about drugs. With rehabilitation, we could be talking about an addiction to pretty much anything alcohol, sex, substance abuse, any of those things. So if you have. And once you have had of that moment rebounding yourself and how do we stay out of where we were? How do we move forward? Those day by day steps to get you into a more positive way.
Guest Answer: Have more of that focus on rehabilitating clients back into the community. So it would focus more on life skills, job skills, job coaching, and also would include recovery from substance abuse. There probably is more of a case management role in organizing services for that person supports and overseeing the different programs that clients would be needed to succeed in their lives.
